Once you edit the code of your theme, it stops receiving updates automatically, so if you made changes to theme code in Guide admin some time ago you may be missing out on new Help Center features or bug fixes. If you would like to incorporate this updates into your your theme yourself you’re in the right place. In this Deep Dive, you’ll follow a worked example to learn how to implement new feature releases and updates into a custom theme based on the Zendesk Copenhagen theme. You’ll learn advanced workflows that you can apply to your own theme, like incorporating Guide, GitHub and Zendesk App tools (ZAT) to make your update process scalable and efficient.
Prerequisite: Zendesk Guide, I. Basic HTML/CSS skills.

-Resolve merge conflicts to finish updating your custom theme

-Apply Your Updated Custom Theme to Your Help Center in Guide   

Required Prerequisites To follow along with the demos and activities in this course you’ll need to:
- Install ZAT
- Install Git Install a code editor (Atom is the code editor used for examples in the course (but any code editor will work just as well)
- Register for a free GitHub account
